Christine Apondi Biography
Christine Apondi is a silky voiced singer first tasted the musical fruit at the tender age of 12 as soloist for her primary school choir & later went on to join the choir at statehouse girls high school, Nairobi where she learnt the ropes in harmonization, tonal variation & performance perfection.
She later formed a singing group, Divine Destiny in her home church which regularly performed at church & school functions made up of four men & a woman, the group was initially well received & even released an album but the smooth ride to stardom was not to be when it broke up after its lead vocalist quit to join the army.
Her star was not dimmed by the development, for that was to signal the beginning of her remarkable solo career marked by impressive appearances in all musical talent searches that were held in Nairobi, Kenya.
