Maliza Umaskini CEO, Sadat Muhindi believes he has discovered the next big thing in the gospel music industry. This is after one of his proteges, Papa Dennis ran into a street boy with an amazing singing talent.
The ‘Injili’ hitmaker narrated to SDE how he ran into the boy after taking a break from a recording session at Main Switch Records in South B.
“I heard someone singing my Injili song and looking around, it was this street boy collecting stuff from a garbage pit. He saw me and shouted my name saying he liked my music after which he started singing and rapping at the same time. You wouldn’t mistake the fact that he is talented. It was an amazing encounter,” Papa Dennis narrated.
“I walked him to Mainswitch where he was given a track to sing to. The promoter was puzzled. He won a recording read immediately and now is working with Maliza Umaskini who also discovered my talent from the streets,” he added.
According to Sadat Muhindi, the boy is even better than gospel starts Willy Paul and Bahati.
“He is better, far much better than Bahati and Willy Paul. We will help him achieve his music dream,” he said.
