  • Formulate and implement the Communications Strategy that is essential in contributing to the achievement of AACES’s objectives in 11 African countries, namely Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Rwanda, and Ghana. The strategy includes Awareness/Demand Creation Strategy, Media Engagement Strategy and Stakeholders external and internal communication support.
  • Support AACES’s partner in countries of operations, in the prioritisation and production of communications products, including the production of success stories, case studies, newsletters, videos and other project publications.
  • Responsible in the production of the Annual Reports as a key corporate communications tool.
  • Responsible in the formulation, writing and editorial aspects (both content review and editing) of videos, photos, case studies, newsletters, media releases and other publications.
  • Continuously liaise with AACES’s stakeholders (including governments, project beneficiaries, donor, local community leaders and others) and foster relationships with local, national, regional and international media.
  • Manage and update the regional contact list, and responsible in regularly updating AACES’s virtual internal platform and social media platforms.
  • Negotiate and supervise contracts for specific technical communication services and consultants (graphic design, printing, photograph, editing, translation, etc)
  • Plan and implement media activities that promote organisational publicity and visibility. This involves coordinating media interviews and events.
  • Develop and deliver capacity training on Communications to AACES partners and stakeholders in 11 African countries.
  • Provide communications support for key events, workshops, meetings, conferences etc.
  • Plan high profile visits, including preparation of information materials and coordinating necessary logistical arrangements.

  • Profiling the organisation through positive editorial content and broadcasting of AGMARK’s project activities as well as planning and implementing policy engagement activities of program activities in Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi. This also includes offering technical support to other 8 African countries where AGMARK operated.
