Gidi Gidi
Gidi Gidi whose real name is Joseph Ogidi Oyoo is a musician and a radio presenter at radio jambo and presents morning show ‘Patanisho’ alongside his co-host Jacob Ghost Mulee.

Gidi Gidi Music Career
His music career was launched when he attended sunday Jam Session talent show at Florida 2000 club. Tedd Josiah who was a pioneer producer noticed his talent, he engaged him in a rap battle with Maji Maji. They dazzled him and asked them to join up to form a rap duo.
In 1999 they released their first known hit song ‘Ting Badi Malo’. In 2000, they released their debut album ‘Ismarwa’
In 2002, they released their second album ‘Unbwogable’. All this time they used to sing in dholuo dialect.
After the massive sucess of Unbwogable , Gallo Record, an international music stable with a branch in South Africa, give them a major recording deal. The deal made them shift from the dholuo dialect driven style to an international urban appeal afro rhythm tune.
In 2003, they released their new sound album ‘Many faces’. They got a chance to perform in the Big Brother Africa season 1.
