Fred Outa Biography

Fred Outa is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Nyando Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the Kenyan parliamentary election, 2007.

Fred Outa was born in the village of Kipiyo near Kisumu. Fred’s mother died when he was three years old and his father died when Fred was in 8th grade. After Fred’s father died, Fred began to live as a street boy having to dig for food from others garbage.
When Fred was 16, an American couple who began work with street boys, took Fred into their home and sent Fred back to school. After high school, the couple sent Fred to the United States to receive a college education. While in the United States, Fred earned 3 degrees.
